Last night I went to a particularly lovely potluck dinner. The food was delicious and mad, odd and at times revolting conversation was made that ended in hysterical laughs.
We gave cake in jars our best shot and they were a hit, bloomin' easy too! We just ripped up sponge cake, whipped cream and defrosted berries and did 2 layers of each in each jar. A wee baking paper cap tied with red and white bakers twine and voila! Ca-ute.

What a great idea! I've had so many disasters with transporting food from home to potluck venues. I am going to try this the next time I have a potluck dinner on the cards!
